Join Our New Peer Group Network
Volunteer Centre Camden is now offering local organisations the opportunity to share experience, support and knowledge in order to enhance their volunteer involvement.

The Peer Group Network will offer its members a chance to meet regularly and swap ideas and experiences and engage in an ongoing exchange of information and support, facilitated and guided by The Volunteer Centre Camden. The Peer Group Network is an innovative pilot scheme and only a limited number of places are available.

The Peer Group Network will provide a range of benefits including: ·Experts to attend sessions and facilitate discussion ·Experienced volunteer managers to attend sessions and give support ·Training sessions in areas identified and agreed upon by the Group ·Regular review and support of the progress of each member organisation ·An ongoing exchange of support and info between Group members ·Support and assistance on issues specific to each member organisation ·Regular meetings and information sessions for Group members Membership of the Group is free to member organisations of Volunteer Centre Camden, although there are limited places available. Get On Board: Volunteering as a Trustee
Volunteer Centre Camden is currently promoting the Get on Board campaign which is part of a national initiative to encourage people to volunteer as trustees with charities.

We are looking for people who would like to become trustees and organisations who are looking for trustees.

How can we help you become a trustee? Volunteer Centre Camden will provide training for prospective trustees, and will help match you to the organisation that best meets your interests and can make good use of any skills or knowledge you may have to offer.

The Volunteering England telephone information line 0800 028 3304 is open from 10.30-12pm and 2-5.30pm Mondays to Fridays, with information on all aspects of volunteer management.
