Volunteer Centre Camden is now offering local organisations the opportunity to share experience, support and knowledge in order to enhance their volunteer involvement.
The Peer Group Network will offer its members a chance to meet regularly and swap ideas and experiences and engage in an ongoing exchange of information and support, facilitated and guided by The Volunteer Centre Camden. The Peer Group Network is an innovative pilot scheme and only a limited number of places are available.
The Peer Group Network will provide a range of benefits including:
·Experts to attend sessions and facilitate discussion
·Experienced volunteer managers to attend sessions and give support
·Training sessions in areas identified and agreed upon by the Group
·Regular review and support of the progress of each member organisation
·An ongoing exchange of support and info between Group members
·Support and assistance on issues specific to each member organisation
·Regular meetings and information sessions for Group members
Membership of the Group is free to member organisations of Volunteer Centre Camden, although there are limited places available. The Group will be launched in October 2007 and application forms are available by contacting Paul Stephenson at Volunteer Centre Camden
